About the project

Purpose-built, in the heart of Haslingden.

Manchester Road is a purpose-built facility designed from the ground up for supported living. Inside are 21 private en-suite rooms — each with its own bathroom — giving every resident comfort, dignity and a space that's genuinely their own.

Sitting on a main thoroughfare, it puts shops, pharmacies and everyday amenities within easy reach, while trained staff are on site 24 hours a day for immediate help and support. Recently completed, the project is now actively accepting referrals.

Rossendale's volunteer-run foodbank, delivering emergency food parcels and household essentials to people in crisis right across the valley — and signposting to longer-term help.

Good surplus food (formerly through FareShare), supplied to Manchester Road under its own licence and shared directly with our residents — so everyone has proper meals and store-cupboard basics while they settle in and find their feet.

Men's Shed

Part of the UK Men’s Sheds movement — friendly community spaces where men come together to make, mend and build over a brew. A simple, practical way to ease isolation, lift mental wellbeing and rebuild confidence and routine.
