Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information Revive Hub CIC collects, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have over your data.

Last updated: June 2026.

Who we are

Revive Hub CIC ("we", "us", "our") — a Community Interest Company registered in England & Wales, company number 15660071 — provides emergency accommodation and support for people facing homelessness across the North West. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us using the details at the end of this page.

What information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact details — your name, email address, phone number and postal address.
  • Referral and support information — details you or a referring agency provide so we can assess and provide support.
  • Enquiry details — the content of messages you send us via our forms, email or phone.
  • Technical data — basic information your browser shares, such as IP address and device/browser type, and anonymous analytics about how the site is used.

Some support information may include sensitive ("special category") data. We only collect this where it's necessary to provide our services, and we handle it with particular care.

How we use your information

We use personal data to:

  • Respond to enquiries and provide the support and accommodation you've asked about.
  • Process and assess referrals.
  • Manage our services and meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Improve our website and understand how it's used.

Our lawful bases for processing are typically consent, the performance of a service, our legitimate interests in running the charity, and compliance with legal obligations.

Sharing your information

We never sell your data. We may share it with trusted partners who help us deliver support — for example local authorities, housing and health services — and where we're required to by law.

We also use a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, only to provide their service and under contract: Cloudflare (website hosting, and anti-spam protection on our contact form via Turnstile) and Odoo (our referral system). Our website contact form is processed on our own server and emailed directly to us — it isn't handled by a third-party form service. Anyone who processes data for us is bound to keep it secure. We don't take payments or money donations through this website.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, to meet legal and safeguarding obligations, and for our legitimate records. When it's no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct or update inaccurate information.
  • Ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances.
  • Object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below.

Cookies & analytics

We aim to keep tracking to a minimum. Where we use cookies or privacy-friendly analytics, we'll make that clear and seek your consent where required. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Children

Our website is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from children through it. Where we support families, we handle any information about children with the utmost care.

Other websites

Our site may link to other organisations' websites. We're not responsible for their privacy practices, so please check their own policies.
