Peer-led cooking session with our residents

A peer-led cooking session brought our residents together to plan, prepare and share a meal — building skills and a sense of community along the way.

Peer-led cooking session with our residents

There was a real buzz in the kitchen this week as our residents came together for a peer-led cooking session — and cheesecake, the idea of one of the residents, was very much the highlight.

It was a hands-on session covering everything from planning the ingredients to the preparation itself, with residents happily taking direction from one another and working as a team. Sessions like these do so much more than put a meal on the table: they build practical skills, confidence and a genuine sense of community.

A huge well done to everyone who took part — and to the resident whose cheesecake idea got us all in the kitchen in the first place.
